Although this may sound like school and teachers but in reality this is a family friendly hotel and a paradise on earth for all children and babies. This baby academy with Katja who is our academic babysitter is the first baby academy in Tyrol. Educated staff looks after the babies (the very young ones - from their first week onwards!) in our room of silence called "Bethlehem" from 9:30am to 6pm. - This is included in our wellness all- inclusive pension.

Furthermore you have the possibility of single caring beyond the normal opening hours. (extra charge!).

Apart from the great staff we also have everything else a baby needs. Baby and baby room monitoring with the most modern technology in all rooms, baby bed, baby's changing table, baby's bath tub, baby's potty, and diaper bucket, collusion curtains, baby care by Penaten, welcome gift, back stretcher, safety device for children, baby kitchen, scooter, tricycles, child car, bicycles, mountain bikes...

You should bring along: diapers, dummies, baby food, special medicine, favourite toy, swimming suits, water wings.

All the boredom is blown over. And all the children have big eyes but close your mouths - it is not magic. Once a week NORIS, the magician visits our Family hotel.
He performs magic, turns a bad mood into a good one, suprises you with his tricks and makes you laugh. His jokes are even bigger than his shoes. With his magic Mimo turns the hotel Ballunspitze into one of the greatest hotel for children in Austria!

That is the limit! - Extactly! - Therefore the hotel Ballunspitze offers a "high time" for children.

They train on our climbing wall in the bear country, turn into professionals in the Alpinarium and in summer  they conquer the really steep rocks in nature.

In July and August we offer adventurous climbing weeks in the mountains for children over 8.

First day: Together with trained mountain guides climbing is not about being on top first but about great fun, experiencing nature and courage to liberty.
You will experience 5 adventurous days in the great mountains of the Paznaun valley and this is the absolute contrast to dad's hiking tours on the weekends. At the beginning of the adventure weeks we all will get to know each other, start with the training and then do our first attempts on the 25m steep climbing wall out of natural stone.

On the second day a taxi will bring the group to the Jamtal hut (2164m above the sea level). There you will enjoy a traditional snack and experience various high alpine programmes and finally you will drive downhill with the mountain bikes.

Third day: The highlight of the adventure week is the camp on the Alpkogel (1950m) After driving up the mountain with the Birkhahn lift the children have to build up their tents. The day will conclude with a nice campfire and barbeque.

The fourth day fishing in the Sedel - lake in Vermunt is on the programme.
On the fifth and final day the whole group goes to the climbing track where you can show the others what you have learnt.

The fifth day: This will conclude the Tyrolean Active Camp in a very relaxed way. The participation including full board, programme, equipment and additional expenses (taxi service, road pricing…) costs only EUR 307,- per child. Enquiry now and safe places!

Learning to swim in the holidays? Only three months young? Already 9 years old? No Problem! In one week Fred's Swim Academy will turn all children into real swimming fanatics.

In the heated indoor pools with 30° Celsius water temperature the babies, infants and children are educated according to their age. Fred has developed a 3 step programme which helps children to learn the correct swimming technique depending on their own development.

According to the latest sports developments our trainers designed an efficient method to guarantee the successful participation.

Completely special swimming coaches are used depending on the age and ability of the child.

This enables the support of the natural swimming reflexes from a very early age onwards. This gradually leads to learning the correct swimming technique.

All swimming coaches offer the children: large stability by double ring system, no slipping through by inflatable pads, fast and secure put on with Klipp catch, no falling over because of steplessly adjustable seat belts...

In short: it is very easy to learn to swim!

Learn to ski very easily! In the alpine residence Ballunspitze we do not only offer "a perfect care for children indoors" but also on our slopes which are directly in front of our hotel.

In Siggi's ski school all children turn into the masters of the carving skies. From Sunday to Friday we bring you to the ski centre with our own shuttle ski bus. Each morning there are a two hour ski course at the exercise area or - depending on your ability - directly on the slopes. Then you enjoy a lunch with refreshing break.

In the afternoon from 1:30 to 3:30 you again participate in our entertaining ski training and finally the children are brought back to the hotel by bus Thus, the parents can also enjoy their skiing ambitions, don't you also think so?

Costs per child: 6-day ticket for the skiing area in Galtuer, skiing instruction and complete daily support including midday lunch (four hours per day): EUR 139, - .

For your children we offer: own ski lift ffor beginners with a "magic carpet", merry-go-around and children's area, kindergarten, skiing competition with prizes, Children's disco, extra trace for children at all ski lifts, stamp game and much more!

Apart from our highlight such as climbing, swimming and skiing we also offer much more for children of all ages.

In summer and in winter! From riding a pony to the playing tennis. From riding a bike to roller skating.

From snowboarding to ice skating. Moreover we offer trips to zoos and animal parks.

The best possible care by our animators is, of course, included!

"Wellness with a smile" is our slogan in selected hotels for children in Austria. And this also applies for the hotel Ballunspitze. Because a school year is really hard and the next one is not far!

The holidays (anyhow much too short) have to be used properly so that you are fit for the next great school achievements.

Therefore we offer a special wellness program for children: take a bath like Cleopatra did. You can relax in the whey bath while enjoying an alcohol free cocktail.

Finally you take a rest in the sky bed. You will also be informed about massages and wellness. Be sure that this is not like in school.
En Nature! The wellness program is for children from 5 to 14 years.
The cosmeticians and masseurs only use natural biological products.
