Galtuer is probably the place with the cleanest
air in Austria. How come? This is because we have
a natural air conditioning system! Galtuer
lies exactly in the intersection of three mountain
valleys and thereby with gets constantly provided
with fresh, pure mountain air. And that is particularly
great for people suffering from an allergy.
Due to the altitude Galtuer has a very
low pollen load. Furthermore we have a climate,
which is not inviting for house dust mites! Non-polluted
air, intensive sun beams and a huge temperature
difference between day and night are perfect indicators
for a great climate.
According to studies and tests this climate has
positive effects on the blood circulation the nervous
system and the immune system. Our sky seems extreme
blue and clear.
The climate
"... From the late autumn to the winter months
we have perfect conditions for people up in the
mountains, even better than in the valleys. Long
and continuous fog is rare. The location of Galtuer
in 1.600m to 3.400m above the sea level is perfect
as far as air temperature and humidity are concerned.
The biological climate is good for everybody. Extremely
freezing temperatures are rare in winter and in
summer we never have extreme heat or sultriness.
Due to constant wind circulation we do not have
longer air stagnation
The possibility for precipitation is moderate and
dust precipitation is also rare."

place in the world where you can relax and have
fun, do so many things and this in a healthy environment
we invite you to our hotel for one week so that
we can convince you of the contrary. Really!
There is hardly anything we do not have. You are
asked to arrange your own summer menu: a small hiking
tour as aperitif? - the landscape is so amazing
that you will forget that your muscles hurt. Use
a mountain bike to climb the mountains to the lake.
If you love adventures go rafting in one
of our rivers or paragliding. If you prefer
it a bit calmer go on a trip up the Silvretta
high alpine street - Europe's highest panorama route
- to the Bielerhöhe with the highest
boating possibility in Europe.
For those who love to move we offer special programs:
Next to various activities like tennis, hiking,
mountain biking, swimming, rafting,
alpine adventures, canyoning, climbing,
paragliding, riding horses, bungee jumping,
freewhelling or golfing we also offer time
