A stay at the children’s hotel “Alpenresidenz Ballunspitze” in Galtür in Tyrol offers an ideal opportunity to combine the beautiful with the useful. In our baby and children’s swimming courses, your little ones are introduced to the element of water playfully – always under the professional guidance of our swimming coaches.

We rely on the tried-and-tested 3-stage swimming learning system of the FRED SWIM ACADEMY with the inflatable swimming aid SWIMTRAINER Classic. Depending on your child’s age and learning progress, the red, orange or yellow SWIMTRAINER can be used. This makes learning the right swimming style a breeze!

Our baby and children’s swimming courses take place from Monday to Friday directly in the swimming pool at our family hotel in Tyrol. A special highlight for all water rats aged eight and over is our mermaid swimming, which takes place once a week.

The swimming courses can be booked directly online with your room in Galtür. Or you can contact our hotel reception. External guests are also welcome on request!

Mermaid swimming

For all those who are at least eight years old and can already swim, we have a very special highlight at the “Alpenresidenz Ballunspitze” in Tyrol: during mermaid swimming, your little ones can immerse themselves in the world of mermaids, mermaids and mermen. We provide colourful fish tails for this.

The course times are every Monday from 20:00 – 21:00.

As part of our 5-day children’s swimming course, children from the age of four are introduced to free swimming step-by-step with the SWIMTRAINER “Classic” yellow – and are sure to have lots of fun!

Once your toddler has completed their water familiarisation, they can switch to the SWIMTRAINER “Classic” orange from the age of two to three.

Baby swimming

Getting used to the water can’t start early enough: our baby swimming for children aged three months and over creates a positive relationship with the element of water at an early age. Thanks to the SWIMTRAINER “Classic” red, the correct swimming position is adopted right from the start. It also strengthens the important back and neck muscles.
