Here, you can find an original Mathias Schmid lounge from 1851, paintings, drawings, sketchbooks, documents, memorabilia, folk art, and cultural/historical and artistic treasures from the Paznaun region.

Sunny Mountain Adventure Park

The Sunny Mountain adventure park in Kappl is a large playground with slide tower, gliding ropeway, low-rope garden and the adventurous Flying Fox. Fun and games for young and old are guaranteed.

Farmer‘s museum Mathon

Unlike other museums, which showcase riches and treasures, the Paznaun Farmers Museum gives you an insight into the Paznaun farmers’ simple way of life and their struggle for existence in times gone by.

Wildlife park Silvretta

In the Silvretta wildlife park, you can observe magnificent deer, proud ibexes, amusing marmots and many other native wild animal species.

Swarovski Crystal Worlds

The famous giant at the entrance of the Swarovski Crystal Worlds in Wattens is possessing a special power of attraction. Even more so, since they keep adding new attractions every year.

Innsbruck Alpine Zoo

Ibexes, brown bears, eagles and wolves can be observed at the Alpenzoo at close hand. For more than 50 years this zoo has been a special Tyrolean landmark which also provides impeccable views of Innsbruck. More than 100 Alpine animals can be seen here. The zoo demonstrates the high biodiversity in the mountain world.

Tirol Panorama & Kaiserjäger Museum

At the Bergisel - the original location of the battles during the Tyrolean struggle for freedom – the Tirol Panorama can be found. The museum is fascinating both architecturally and culturally. Its core contains a giant round painting (more than 1000 square metres). A 360 degree view shows the historical drama going on at Bergisel during the battles.

Bergisel Ski Jump Innsbruck

The Olympic ski jumping hill at Bergisel is one of four stops during the Four Hills Tournament. 2002 the ski jump was renewed by star architect Zaha Hadid. Ever since then, it has become a centre of attraction both for athletes and tourists.

Alpinarium Galtür

The design of the Alpinarium Galtür’s exterior is in keeping with the natural surroundings; at 345 metres in length and 19 metres high, its avalanche barrier wall is one of a kind in Europe. It was built after the avalanche disaster on 23rd February 1999. The combination of barrier and museum is unique and turns the Alpinarium into a very special information and exhibition centre.

Zammer Lochputz

The mystical Zammer Lochputz provides a natural spectacle save to watch for old and young thanks to the water-adventure-climb. Starting at Tyrol’s oldest hydroelectric power station, the paths lead through climbs and tunnels until visitors reach the Lötzer waterfalls, dropping 30 metres.

Imperial Palace, Innsbruck

The Hofburg Innsbruck was built by Duke Sigmund the Wealthy. Next to Hofburg Vienna and Schloss Schönbrunn, it ranks as one of the three most important cultural buildings in Austria. Special point of interest: Empress Elisabeth’s apartment, which was restored due to the original.

Court Church

The Hofkirche, located at the edge of Innsbruck’s Old Town, was built between 1553 and 1563 as a mausoleum for Emperor Maximilian the first who died in 1519. Even though the coffin is empty, it still is the most important monument in Tyrol as well as the greatest emperors tomb in Europe.

Kufstein Fortress

Hard to miss is the fortress of Kufstein. It testifys to the districts capitals turbulent past as a place located right between Tyrol and Bavaria. Today, the fortress is a popular venue for theatrical plays and concerts. Every year, it hosts the operetta festival Kufstein.

Tirol Farmstead Museum

The farmyard museum in Kramsach shows how the farming population used to live. The farmyards from all the Tyrolean valleys are beautiful to look at as the concept of the museum is impressive and contemporary.
