Welcome to Galtür
The river Trisanna meanders dreamily through the Paznaun, the road leads you into an impressive mountain world. At the foot of the Ballunspitze lies our children’s hotel in Galtür near Ischgl – Tyrol, with a breathtaking panorama of the surrounding peaks. Your hikes and ski excursions start here.
Pure relaxation, Tyrolean living comfort, exquisite cuisine and all-day childcare from 8.30 am to 10.00 pm (babies until 8.00 pm) await you at the wellness and family hotel.
You approach Galtür via the German A7 motorway or the A95 southbound. The route takes you onto the Fernpass federal road (B179) via Imst and Landeck onto the A12 motorway and on to the S16 (Arlberg motorway) to Pians. Leave the motorway at Pians and stay on the Silvretta Bundesstraße (B188) for around 30 kilometres in the direction of Galtür.
Take the German A93 motorway in the direction of Innsbruck. The Austrian Inntal motorway (A12) takes you via Kufstein, Innsbruck and Landeck to the S16, the Arlberg motorway, as far as Pians. Leave the motorway at Pians and stay on the Silvretta Bundesstraße (B188) for around 30 kilometres in the direction of Galtür.
Take the A96 motorway in the direction of Lindau to Austria on the A14. Follow this motorway via Bregenz, Feldkirch and through the Arlberg tunnel (or over the Arlberg Pass) onto the S16 to Pians. Leave the motorway at Pians and stay on the Silvretta Bundesstraße (B188) for around 30 kilometres in the direction of Galtür. In summer, you can also leave the motorway in Bludenz and take the Silvretta High Alpine Road to Galtür.
Please note that the Silvretta High Alpine Road is closed!
The nearest railway station to Galtür is Landeck. There are direct trains here from Innsbruck and Zurich. From there you can continue to Galtür by post bus or taxi.

The nearest airport is Innsbruck – only one hour away from Galtür.
The airport with the most connections is Zurich. From there there is an uncomplicated train connection (see above “Travelling by train”).
It is also possible to fly to Munich. However, the train journey is then a little more complicated. Some guests also fly to Salzburg or Friedrichshafen and come to us from there.
